Scheduling Facebook Reels with Meta Creator Studio is available now in three easy steps.

Meta introduces a new method to schedule Facebook Reels with new features built into Meta Creator Studio. So, if you have a Facebook page, you can schedule reels in three easy steps with creator studio.

It’s not as convenient as scroll scheduling in the Facebook mobile app as it requires a desktop browser, but it should suit the needs of most developers.

Yet, this is the easiest option to schedule Facebook Reels.

Following is How to Schedule Reels on Facebook with Creator Studio.

How To Schedule Facebook Reels?

First Step: Upload Video

First of all, log into the Creator Studio for Facebook Reels scheduling.

If you’re not sure how to log into Creator Studio and want to signup? No worries, you can sign in using the same credentials as your Facebook Page. No further registration steps are required.

Then click the “Create Reel” button, which will ask you to upload a video.

The button text is misleading because you didn’t create a video inside the Creator Studio. You need to create a video in advance and put it on your desktop computer.

Ideally, you should upload a vertical video of up to 60 seconds. However, you can choose any video size and optimize it in step two.

Second Step: Optimize Video

After uploading a video, you can optimize it in Creator Studio for Facebook Reel.

You can skip the step if your video already has a vertical aspect ratio and is 60 seconds or less.

You can frame a horizontal video to be vertical or square. Creator Studio shows a preview at the side of the screen so you can see what the video will look like in its new form.

If you are satisfied with the appearance of the video in Roll format, you can proceed to the next step.

Third Step: Schedule A Video As A Facebook Reel

Finally, add a caption to your Facebook reels and schedule publications. You can also publish it immediately.

Or, if you change your mind about publishing, you can save the reel as draft during this step.

You can track the performance of all published reels in Creator Studio.

What About Instagram Reels?

The Instagram Reels is a major focus for Meta, and there are recent hints that a native scheduling feature is in the works.

App researcher Alessandro Paluzzi documented the development of Instagram’s own scheduling function. He shared his findings in an ongoing Twitter thread.

Paluzzi’s recent addition to the thread reveals that Instagram is working on a way to schedule posts and reels in the app.

It is not known when this feature will be available. Though I was expecting it sooner rather than later given how much Meta Reels is pushing on Instagram and Facebook.
