Is it Beneficial For SEO Experts To Be In Close Contact With Google?

It’s really not beneficial for you (or me) to be in close contact with Google or the people who work at Google. That’s the simple answer – you won’t benefit from it.

There have been tweets suggesting that some SEO agencies respond to potential clients or clients and say, “Our SEO experts are in close contact with Google…” Yes, and so do I? Does that mean they can push a button to increase my ranking or downgrade my competitors? No, no.

Just because someone has photos with Larry Page, Sundar Pichai, Matt Cutts, Danny Sullivan, Gary Illies, John Mueller, etc – it doesn’t mean he has any special power to rank on Google.

If you have a long-standing professional relationship with an employee who works at Google Search, it’s because you didn’t cross the line and push him into some kind of favors. It’s quite simple they can’t favor you by any means.
